burglebezzlemenI’m excited to be part of this exchange, and I’m excited to see what you come up with. I love all of these ships, and I will be delighted to get a gift for any of them. :D I'm burglebezzlement over on AO3.
As a general note before I get into the specifics: if my prompts don’t work for you, or if you’ve got another story you’d love to write, I’m here for that. Some of my favorite stories have been stories I never would have thought to prompt, or stories that took my general likes in directions I couldn’t have thought of. Also, I'm totally fine with getting a shorter snippet or scene from one of my longer prompts.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
I love this canon, and all the wacky, wonderful characters in it. I’d love something fun and shenanigan-filled, where the characters get to bounce off one another and show their weirdest sides.
If you’re interested in including background ships, I’d be good with Rebecca/Nathaniel, Darryl/Whijo, and Maya/OC of whatever gender.
I know we’re getting new canon in the writing period. Please feel free to ignore the new canon entirely, to go canon-departure AU, or to include as much as you want to. I’ll be watching, so no worries on spoilers.
Maya & Darryl
D-Money and M-Dog! I really like where canon went with them and the way they ended up friends. :D I’d love to see more of the two of them together.
-What other Millennial advice does Maya try to give Darryl?
-Do they ever spend time together outside of the office?
-Do they share any weird hobbies, like making terrariums or hunting for ghosts?
-Or maybe they start a podcast together about one of their weird hobbies. Darryl & Maya hunting for the Chupacabra in suburban West Covina while recording themselves could be hilarious.
-I also feel like The Hangover would be really fun with the two of them — they thought they were going to a totally normal ceramic painting night or escape room, and end up waking up somewhere weird and having to figure out what happened.
Maya & Rebecca
Maya seems to have a really skewed view of Rebecca, which is interesting to me. What sort of things is Rebecca telling Maya, to give her this idea of her?
-Maybe Rebecca tries the Girl Boss Power Course mentorship thing for Maya? Or maybe Rebecca agrees to be Maya’s mentor, but Darryl wants to be her mentor too, and it turns into a mentor-off!
-Nathaniel decides to have a Whitefeather & Associates Valentine’s Party (for reasons totally not related to Rebecca Bunch), and Maya orders a haunted prom dress off eBay to wear, leading to general hijinks.
-Maya asks Rebecca to help with a project, like maybe an Etsy store she’s started to sell funny embroidery patterns or an Instagram rating all of West Covina’s trendiest avocado toast brunches (or another project!). Rebecca agrees to help, but things quickly spiral out of control.
-Rebecca’s cold war with Mrs. Hernandez escalates, and she recruits Maya as an asset. Things go about as well as you’d expect.
Valencia/Heather
I ship it. Hard. The connection they have, the way Valencia trusts Heather to tell her what’s normal, is amazing, and I really think they could take it a step further into a romantic thing. I’d be up for so much tropey stuff for these two.
-Valencia thinks she’s being haunted, and asks Heather to help. (We know she canonically thinks ghosts are obsessed with her, after all.) Or maybe Heather’s creepy murder house actually IS being haunted!
-Valencia and Heather, Woke Up Married.
-Valencia and Heather, Fake Dating.
-Valencia gets sick and refuses to admit it; Heather is not into the caretaking thing at all, but can’t let her suffer.
-Rebecca finds out one of them has feelings for the other, and decides to “help” in various extremely unhelpful ways.
-I would love a State-Mandated Ghost Hunting AU for any of the fandoms and pairings I’ve requested, but I feel like it’d be especially appropriate for Heather and Valencia.
FFA RPF
Aunt Agnes & Anon Unable to Make Pasta from Scratch
I love this pairing! I'd be up for anything from a relatively real-world struggle over a pasta-making condition in a relative's will up to Aunt Agnes as a fanatical cultist trying to sacrifice Anon and eat the world.
-Aunt Agnes lives in a remote, Gothic manor. Anon is paying their annual visit (gotta stay in that will!) when a conflict arises over pasta-making.
-Aunt Agnes in SPAAAAACE. Space pasta.
-Aunt Agnes as a restless spirit, haunting Anon for Anon's pasta-making failures.
-In Anon’s small village, they tell stories of Aunt Agnes, the witch on the mountain who punishes tiny children who cannot make pasta. Anon decides to to find Aunt Agnes and figure out if there’s any truth behind the story. Maybe Anon learns that the real Aunt Agnes doesn’t even like pasta, and it’s been a legend all along?
-Or maybe the legend of Aunt Agnes is being investigated in modern times by a Scooby Gang/podcaster/whatever!
-Crossover with The Katering Show! Aunt Agnes hires the Kates to teach Anon the pasta skills Anon is so desperately lacking. Unfortunately, Aunt Agnes doesn't realize how terrible the Kates' cooking skills are. Or maybe McCartney is Anon Unable To Make Pasta From Scratch!
The Good Place
I love this show so much! Honestly, I probably could have requested Any, but I decided to go with three ships I love that don’t really get written much for this exchange. I’m a total multi-shipper for this show, so if you set this in the Afterlife, feel free to include background ships.

Tahani & Kamilah
I love what we get about this two and their fraught relationship in canon, and I’m here for more, whether that’s something set in their childhood, something from their complicated relationship prior to Tahani’s death, or something in The Good Place.
-More stories about their childhood together! I’m sure Tahani tried to one-up her sister constantly — how did it backfire?
-Five times Tahani was bested by Kamilah, and one time she turned the tables. (Or so she thought.)
-Tahani throwing a party; Kamilah taking it over. Anything from a tea party in their childhood up to a fancy party or benefit could be great!
-We know Tahani et al have been trapped in the loops for a while, so Kamilah may be in the afterlife by now. How would Tahani deal with finding out Kamilah is in the Bad Place? With finding out Kamilah is in the Good Place?
-Meeting Kamilah is one of Tahani’s final tests to get into The Good Place. Can she do it? Or if the crew ends up in the actual Good Place, how would Tahani react to meeting Kamilah there?
Jason & Pillboi
I love this friendship so much, OMG. I’d also be down with Jason/Pillboi if that’s your jam. I think I could read an unlimited number of Jason & Pillboi dirtbag adventures, blowing shit up and smuggling reptiles and whatever else they got up to on Earth.
-The dance crew has an emergency that they try to solve with fireworks
-There’s a burrito-eating challenge, and Jason decides that this is his moment
-Pillboi thinks Jason is haunting Stupid Nick's Wing Dump after his death — why DID a pelican fall into the flash fryer?
-AU where Jason lives, and they have to get married because double jeopardy!
-Or if you want to go with an afterlife setting, what if the gang makes it to the real Good Place… and Pillboi is there?
Eleanor/Eleanor
I love the idea of Eleanor meeting a different version of herself. I'm fine if the selfcest is lowkey and there's no on-screen makeouts -- heck, maybe one Eleanor is into it and the other isn't!
-Michael makes constructs of their earlier selves for them to interact with (torture, learning tool, whatever floats your boat). How would our newer, more evolved Eleanor take that? Or maybe the construct of the original Eleanor just wants to get drunk with Jason and throw fireworks at shit. ALSO GOOD.
-Or maybe Janet makes the construct of Original Flavor Eleanor by accident, after an unclear instruction from Jason, and new and improved Eleanor has to try to keep Vicky from finding her.
-Current-canon Eleanor somehow manages to get sent back to Earth, to a point before when she died. Could she convince her earlier self to change her ways? Would earlier Eleanor believe her, or just want to make out with her?
-Pre-death Eleanor gets really drunk and accidentally ends up catfishing herself.
-Or come up with some other scenario!
Leverage
I miss Leverage! I love Parker's friendships with Amy (The Broken Wing Job) and Peggy (The Juror #6 Job, The Girls' Night Out Job), and I’d love to see more. If you’re looking to add romantic ships (background or otherwise), I’m good with Parker/Hardison and Parker/Eliot/Hardison. I've also enjoyed Parker/Amy when I've run across it, if you’d rather go the shippy route on that one.
Parker & Amy, Parker & Peggy
-A (small) case could be really fun — maybe something like "who's leaving this gorgeously-drawn graffiti in the brew pub bathrooms?" or "who left [item] in the brew pub's lost and found, and why can't we find them?”
-Hardison starts thinking the brew pub is haunted, or they investigate some other apparently-paranormal phenomenon.
-Someone decides to have a girl’s night, whether for a bachelorette party or as an anti-Valentine’s Day event or for no event at all. (Sophie and Tara totally welcome as well!) The girl’s group either runs into some sort of trouble, or wakes up the next morning with no memory and has to figure out what happened.
-Amy or Peggy get roped into playing a role in a job the team is working on.
-Slice-of-life, especially set around the brew pub or involving food in some way.
-Amy or Peggy convince Parker to show off her sleight of hand skills in some way, and things get complicated.
-Outsider POV from Amy on one of the team’s jobs
-Epistolary fic about Peggy and Parker staying in touch
The Librarians
The Librarians is back! I love this cheesy adventure show and I’d love something similarly cheesy and adventurous, or something slice of life, or really just about anything.

Cassandra/Estrella
I was so happy to see Cassandra get a love interest, even if only for one episode, and I thought her connection with Estrella was great. As for this season’s whole “Librarians can’t have a normal life” thing — I don’t see how that rules out Cassandra dating Estrella, because dating a vampire is in no way normal, and Flynn of all people should know that. I’d love to see more of the two of them together!
A couple quick clarifications on my DNWs: I have terminal illness tropes as a general DNW. However, I'm fine with fic including Cassandra's canonical brain-grape situation as part of the backstory or motivation, as long as the brain-grape situation remains past tense and the plotline isn't "Cassandra's brain grape came back and now she's dying.” Also, consensual blood-drinking by vampires does not hit my cannibalism squick/DNW, so if you’re looking to include Estrella drinking Cassandra’s blood, go for it.
-Cassandra and Estrella, epistolary fic about keeping in touch and their daily lives and/or how they end up reconnecting.
-Something mysterious happens at Estrella's retreat, and she calls in Cassandra (with or without the other Librarians) to help figure out what's going on.
-Something goes pear-shaped at the Library, and Cassandra has to flee to the retreat for safety.
-There’s a mystery at a resort/hotel/whatever that needs looking into, and the two of them have to go undercover as a couple, leading them to reconnect.
-Or maybe they just decide to take a vacation together -- the Library is stressful, and running a vampire retreat doesn't seem easy either. Where could a vampire and a Librarian go to relax together? Cave exploration? :D
NOTE: Spoilers up through Season 4, Episode 6 from this point on. I know the two Nicole ships are a risk, asking for a character we don’t know well in the midst of new canon, so as events develop, go where the story takes you. I’m also totally fine with canon-departure AUs for this one.
Cassandra/Nicole
Nicole’s a fascinating character, and I feel like she and Cassandra could be unexpectedly great together. I also found it interesting that in S4E6, Cassandra was the most skeptical of Nicole (apart from Jenkins) — which seems interesting, given that Cassandra herself betrayed the Library, back in S1! I’d love to see what could bring them together, and what it’d take to build trust between them.
-AU where Cassandra discovers Nicole imprisoned under the Library before Jenkins gets a chance to explain. Would Cassandra believe Nicole? Would Cassandra try to free Nicole without Jenkins finding out?
-The Librarians get called out on a mission, and Cassandra and Nicole are trapped somewhere together. Can they work together, and will Cassandra end up seeing Nicole’s side of the story?
-After Nicole initially runs away, she reaches out to Cassandra through the internet and/or magic to try to explain.
-AU where Cassandra becomes the Librarian instead of Flynn, with Nicole as her Guardian. (Note: I am familiar with The Librarian and the Spear of Destiny, but I’m thinking more of an AU where different events take place, instead of Cassandra taking Flynn’s place in the events of Spear of Destiny.)
-When another of Nicole’s enemies surfaces, she reaches out to Cassandra for help.
Eve/Nicole
I totally wasn’t expecting to ship this as much as I did! The fact that Nicole ran away, expecting Flynn to track her down — and then Eve was the one to go after her? That slays me, it does, and they’re so well matched in so many ways.
-Eve and Nicole, stranded in the wilderness, forced to work together.
-Flynn is found murdered, and the evidence all points to Nicole. Eve has to figure out what really happened. Or other way around — maybe Eve seems to be the suspect, and Nicole’s the one trying to clear Eve’s name! (I'd be fine with Flynn dying in the service of a casefic, so no worries on my major character death DNW here.)
-Eve decides to tether to the Library and accept immortality for Nicole.
-More exploration of why Eve decided to go after Nicole. We have the explanation she gave in the show — could she have another reason? One she’s not ready to admit to herself?
-If Nicole had one grave every 20 years or so for over 500 years, there must be another 20-odd graves that haven’t been found yet. When Nicole’s graves start getting broken into again, Eve has to track her down and figure out what’s going on.
Lumberjanes
Lumberjanes! I love this comic so much, and I'd be happy with a ton of different things. I have some general prompts that might work for any pairing or group, followed by some ship-specific prompts. I’m currently up through Issue #44, and any spoilers beyond that point are totally fine.
For ship fic focusing on underage characters, I’m fine with the level of kissing/hugging/etc. that we see in canon, and would prefer nothing above that. I’m also fine with Mal and Molly’s canonical relationship being included.
I love fic set at Lumberjanes camp, in the forest etc. around the camp, and in Bear Woman’s weird land-of-the-lost world. Basically anything where the Lumberjanes have to solve some sort of problem, whether that problem is supernatural or totally mundane, would be awesome.
For non-supernatural stuff, maybe a storm hits the Lumberjanes camp. Or a camp-wide game (hide and seek? Assassins? Calvinball? Another game of Capture the Flag?) leads to unexpected discoveries. Or someone encounters an unexpected challenge while trying to earn a badge.
For another general prompt, maybe someone finds and explores Bear Woman’s cottage, or Abigail’s house, or some other weird location in the forest.
Abigail/Rosie
Abigail/Rosie have a complicated history, and I love the glimpses we get of the two of them, and their complicated past. I love the ship, but I’m also fine with lightly shippy or pre-ship if you decide to write them as Lumberjanes together.
-The Lumberjanes travel back in time and meet Rosie and Abigail when they were campers, or camper-age Rosie and Abigail travel forward in time and meet the Lumberjanes.
-Lumberjanes shenanigans from their time at camp as scouts! What types of adventures did they have together? They must have had a lot of interesting cases or Monster-of-the-week stories!
NOTE: Spoilers for Issues #41-#44 in the two prompts below.
-Abigail came back! ...at least for a little while. Why and how did she make that decision? What would convince her to come back again?
-Like, ROSIE AS A BEAR, what. WHAT. What is up with that? How does Abigail feel about that?
Abuelita & Bear Woman
These two became BFFs in the Parent's Day arc (#37-#40) and I want more. *___* Abuelita is exactly the sort of spirited woman I'd expect to be related to Ripley, and I'm fascinated by how quickly she and Bear Woman bonded with one another.
As a side note, I don’t speak much Spanish, so including bilingual dialogue for Abuelita would be really appreciated.
-Abuelita returns to visit Ripley and Bear Woman. In typical Lumberjanes fashion, things do not go as planned.
-Bear Woman leaves the forest to visit Abuelita. What would she think about the outside world? And what will the outside world make of Bear Woman if she suddenly transforms in the middle of a supermarket or a Starbucks?
-Outsider POV on Bear Woman and Abuelita hanging out together!
-Bear Woman is on the trail of an ancient treasure. Abuelita is the only one who can help her.
April & Jo & Mal & Molly & Ripley
Roanoke Cabin! I love our core five, and I love seeing them learn new things and tackle new challenges together.
-Is there anything in the forest that scares the Grootslang? And what would happen if the Lumberjanes ran across it?
-Mal’s role as a master strategist! Maybe she’s just trying to strategize a date with Molly, but things keep getting in their way….
-Five times Ripley got to hug a furry animal/dinosaur/cryptid!
-I love Jo’s robots (especially the unnecessary ones, like CakeBot the cake-frosting robot), and I also enjoy the stories where we get to see Jo being frustrated by how electronics/science/whatever doesn’t work right in the forest (the mermaid rock concert!). Maybe the Lumberjanes get led into an adventure when Jo tries to figure one of these things out!

April/Barney
I really like these two together, and I’m so happy Barney became a Lumberjane! I’m fine with any level of shippiness here, so pre-ship is welcome.
-April becomes convinced that Barney's cat Marigold doesn't like her, and goes full April in trying to fix that. It goes about as well as you'd expect.
-Barney’s a great baker, and April’s very impatient. I feel like the two of them could make an interesting baking team together — how would they overcome the differences in their baking styles together?
-Barney gets to see April in her competitive badge-earning headspace for the first time — how would they see it, and how might they try to work with April?
-April decides to get Barney caught up on Lumberjanes badges!
Jen (Lumberjanes) & Ripley (Lumberjanes)
I love Jen and Ripley's relationship -- Ripley would do anything for Jen, and Jen clearly loves Ripley even if she's exasperated by her half the time.
-Ripley decides to do something nice for Jen! Things do not go as planned.
-Jen gets turned into a bird (any kind of bird — goose, swan, canary, kakapo, go nuts). Only Ripley knows -- and she can't tell anyone, or Jen will stay as a bird forever. How can Ripley rescue her?
-Jen teaches Ripley a lot of skills. What skills might Ripley be able to teach Jen?
-Ripley decides that she needs to help Jen with her ghost-story telling skills for the If You've Got It, Haunt It badge. Only problem is, maybe Jen's getting a little ~too~ good….
Jeremy (Lumberjanes) & Rosie (Lumberjanes)
A woman and her moose may be the purest love of all. :D Seriously, I love Jeremy the moose, and I love Rosie -- we don't get a huge amount about their bond in canon, but I'd be delighted to learn more.
-How did Rosie find Jeremy? Did Jeremy choose to come live with the Lumberjanes?
-A Lumberjanes Guide to Moose Care!
-When Rosie goes missing, it's up to Jeremy to convince Roanoke Cabin that he can follow her scent trail. (Or maybe the trail of moose treats she's been dropping.)
-Something magical turns Rosie into a moose, and it’s up to Jeremy to teach her all about being a moose, like the warmest side of the moose stables and all the best swamps to graze in! Or alternatively, it’s up to Jeremy to figure out how to turn Rosie back/how to make the Lumberjanes realize the new moose is Rosie and help him turn her back.

Aunt Agnes & Anon Unable to Make Pasta from Scratch
I love this pairing! I'd be up for anything from a relatively real-world struggle over a pasta-making condition in a relative's will up to Aunt Agnes as a fanatical cultist trying to sacrifice Anon and eat the world.
-Aunt Agnes lives in a remote, Gothic manor. Anon is paying their annual visit (gotta stay in that will!) when a conflict arises over pasta-making.
-Aunt Agnes in SPAAAAACE. Space pasta.
-Aunt Agnes as a restless spirit, haunting Anon for Anon's pasta-making failures.
-In Anon’s small village, they tell stories of Aunt Agnes, the witch on the mountain who punishes tiny children who cannot make pasta. Anon decides to to find Aunt Agnes and figure out if there’s any truth behind the story. Maybe Anon learns that the real Aunt Agnes doesn’t even like pasta, and it’s been a legend all along?
-Or maybe the legend of Aunt Agnes is being investigated in modern times by a Scooby Gang/podcaster/whatever!
-Crossover with The Katering Show! Aunt Agnes hires the Kates to teach Anon the pasta skills Anon is so desperately lacking. Unfortunately, Aunt Agnes doesn't realize how terrible the Kates' cooking skills are. Or maybe McCartney is Anon Unable To Make Pasta From Scratch!
The Good Place
I love this show so much! Honestly, I probably could have requested Any, but I decided to go with three ships I love that don’t really get written much for this exchange. I’m a total multi-shipper for this show, so if you set this in the Afterlife, feel free to include background ships.
I know we’re getting new canon in the writing period. Please feel free to ignore the new canon entirely, to go canon-departure AU, or to include as much as you want to. I’ll be watching, so no worries on spoilers.
Tahani & Kamilah
I love what we get about this two and their fraught relationship in canon, and I’m here for more, whether that’s something set in their childhood, something from their complicated relationship prior to Tahani’s death, or something in The Good Place.
-More stories about their childhood together! I’m sure Tahani tried to one-up her sister constantly — how did it backfire?
-Five times Tahani was bested by Kamilah, and one time she turned the tables. (Or so she thought.)
-Tahani throwing a party; Kamilah taking it over. Anything from a tea party in their childhood up to a fancy party or benefit could be great!
-We know Tahani et al have been trapped in the loops for a while, so Kamilah may be in the afterlife by now. How would Tahani deal with finding out Kamilah is in the Bad Place? With finding out Kamilah is in the Good Place?
-Meeting Kamilah is one of Tahani’s final tests to get into The Good Place. Can she do it? Or if the crew ends up in the actual Good Place, how would Tahani react to meeting Kamilah there?
Jason & Pillboi
I love this friendship so much, OMG. I’d also be down with Jason/Pillboi if that’s your jam. I think I could read an unlimited number of Jason & Pillboi dirtbag adventures, blowing shit up and smuggling reptiles and whatever else they got up to on Earth.
-The dance crew has an emergency that they try to solve with fireworks
-There’s a burrito-eating challenge, and Jason decides that this is his moment
-Pillboi thinks Jason is haunting Stupid Nick's Wing Dump after his death — why DID a pelican fall into the flash fryer?
-AU where Jason lives, and they have to get married because double jeopardy!
-Or if you want to go with an afterlife setting, what if the gang makes it to the real Good Place… and Pillboi is there?
Eleanor/Eleanor
I love the idea of Eleanor meeting a different version of herself. I'm fine if the selfcest is lowkey and there's no on-screen makeouts -- heck, maybe one Eleanor is into it and the other isn't!
-Michael makes constructs of their earlier selves for them to interact with (torture, learning tool, whatever floats your boat). How would our newer, more evolved Eleanor take that? Or maybe the construct of the original Eleanor just wants to get drunk with Jason and throw fireworks at shit. ALSO GOOD.
-Or maybe Janet makes the construct of Original Flavor Eleanor by accident, after an unclear instruction from Jason, and new and improved Eleanor has to try to keep Vicky from finding her.
-Current-canon Eleanor somehow manages to get sent back to Earth, to a point before when she died. Could she convince her earlier self to change her ways? Would earlier Eleanor believe her, or just want to make out with her?
-Pre-death Eleanor gets really drunk and accidentally ends up catfishing herself.
-Or come up with some other scenario!
Leverage
I miss Leverage! I love Parker's friendships with Amy (The Broken Wing Job) and Peggy (The Juror #6 Job, The Girls' Night Out Job), and I’d love to see more. If you’re looking to add romantic ships (background or otherwise), I’m good with Parker/Hardison and Parker/Eliot/Hardison. I've also enjoyed Parker/Amy when I've run across it, if you’d rather go the shippy route on that one.
Parker & Amy, Parker & Peggy
-A (small) case could be really fun — maybe something like "who's leaving this gorgeously-drawn graffiti in the brew pub bathrooms?" or "who left [item] in the brew pub's lost and found, and why can't we find them?”
-Hardison starts thinking the brew pub is haunted, or they investigate some other apparently-paranormal phenomenon.
-Someone decides to have a girl’s night, whether for a bachelorette party or as an anti-Valentine’s Day event or for no event at all. (Sophie and Tara totally welcome as well!) The girl’s group either runs into some sort of trouble, or wakes up the next morning with no memory and has to figure out what happened.
-Amy or Peggy get roped into playing a role in a job the team is working on.
-Slice-of-life, especially set around the brew pub or involving food in some way.
-Amy or Peggy convince Parker to show off her sleight of hand skills in some way, and things get complicated.
-Outsider POV from Amy on one of the team’s jobs
-Epistolary fic about Peggy and Parker staying in touch
The Librarians
The Librarians is back! I love this cheesy adventure show and I’d love something similarly cheesy and adventurous, or something slice of life, or really just about anything.

Cassandra/Estrella
I was so happy to see Cassandra get a love interest, even if only for one episode, and I thought her connection with Estrella was great. As for this season’s whole “Librarians can’t have a normal life” thing — I don’t see how that rules out Cassandra dating Estrella, because dating a vampire is in no way normal, and Flynn of all people should know that. I’d love to see more of the two of them together!
A couple quick clarifications on my DNWs: I have terminal illness tropes as a general DNW. However, I'm fine with fic including Cassandra's canonical brain-grape situation as part of the backstory or motivation, as long as the brain-grape situation remains past tense and the plotline isn't "Cassandra's brain grape came back and now she's dying.” Also, consensual blood-drinking by vampires does not hit my cannibalism squick/DNW, so if you’re looking to include Estrella drinking Cassandra’s blood, go for it.
-Cassandra and Estrella, epistolary fic about keeping in touch and their daily lives and/or how they end up reconnecting.
-Something mysterious happens at Estrella's retreat, and she calls in Cassandra (with or without the other Librarians) to help figure out what's going on.
-Something goes pear-shaped at the Library, and Cassandra has to flee to the retreat for safety.
-There’s a mystery at a resort/hotel/whatever that needs looking into, and the two of them have to go undercover as a couple, leading them to reconnect.
-Or maybe they just decide to take a vacation together -- the Library is stressful, and running a vampire retreat doesn't seem easy either. Where could a vampire and a Librarian go to relax together? Cave exploration? :D
NOTE: Spoilers up through Season 4, Episode 6 from this point on. I know the two Nicole ships are a risk, asking for a character we don’t know well in the midst of new canon, so as events develop, go where the story takes you. I’m also totally fine with canon-departure AUs for this one.
Cassandra/Nicole
Nicole’s a fascinating character, and I feel like she and Cassandra could be unexpectedly great together. I also found it interesting that in S4E6, Cassandra was the most skeptical of Nicole (apart from Jenkins) — which seems interesting, given that Cassandra herself betrayed the Library, back in S1! I’d love to see what could bring them together, and what it’d take to build trust between them.
-AU where Cassandra discovers Nicole imprisoned under the Library before Jenkins gets a chance to explain. Would Cassandra believe Nicole? Would Cassandra try to free Nicole without Jenkins finding out?
-The Librarians get called out on a mission, and Cassandra and Nicole are trapped somewhere together. Can they work together, and will Cassandra end up seeing Nicole’s side of the story?
-After Nicole initially runs away, she reaches out to Cassandra through the internet and/or magic to try to explain.
-AU where Cassandra becomes the Librarian instead of Flynn, with Nicole as her Guardian. (Note: I am familiar with The Librarian and the Spear of Destiny, but I’m thinking more of an AU where different events take place, instead of Cassandra taking Flynn’s place in the events of Spear of Destiny.)
-When another of Nicole’s enemies surfaces, she reaches out to Cassandra for help.
Eve/Nicole
I totally wasn’t expecting to ship this as much as I did! The fact that Nicole ran away, expecting Flynn to track her down — and then Eve was the one to go after her? That slays me, it does, and they’re so well matched in so many ways.
-Eve and Nicole, stranded in the wilderness, forced to work together.
-Flynn is found murdered, and the evidence all points to Nicole. Eve has to figure out what really happened. Or other way around — maybe Eve seems to be the suspect, and Nicole’s the one trying to clear Eve’s name! (I'd be fine with Flynn dying in the service of a casefic, so no worries on my major character death DNW here.)
-Eve decides to tether to the Library and accept immortality for Nicole.
-More exploration of why Eve decided to go after Nicole. We have the explanation she gave in the show — could she have another reason? One she’s not ready to admit to herself?
-If Nicole had one grave every 20 years or so for over 500 years, there must be another 20-odd graves that haven’t been found yet. When Nicole’s graves start getting broken into again, Eve has to track her down and figure out what’s going on.
Lumberjanes
Lumberjanes! I love this comic so much, and I'd be happy with a ton of different things. I have some general prompts that might work for any pairing or group, followed by some ship-specific prompts. I’m currently up through Issue #44, and any spoilers beyond that point are totally fine.
For ship fic focusing on underage characters, I’m fine with the level of kissing/hugging/etc. that we see in canon, and would prefer nothing above that. I’m also fine with Mal and Molly’s canonical relationship being included.
I love fic set at Lumberjanes camp, in the forest etc. around the camp, and in Bear Woman’s weird land-of-the-lost world. Basically anything where the Lumberjanes have to solve some sort of problem, whether that problem is supernatural or totally mundane, would be awesome.
For non-supernatural stuff, maybe a storm hits the Lumberjanes camp. Or a camp-wide game (hide and seek? Assassins? Calvinball? Another game of Capture the Flag?) leads to unexpected discoveries. Or someone encounters an unexpected challenge while trying to earn a badge.
For another general prompt, maybe someone finds and explores Bear Woman’s cottage, or Abigail’s house, or some other weird location in the forest.
Abigail/Rosie
Abigail/Rosie have a complicated history, and I love the glimpses we get of the two of them, and their complicated past. I love the ship, but I’m also fine with lightly shippy or pre-ship if you decide to write them as Lumberjanes together.
-The Lumberjanes travel back in time and meet Rosie and Abigail when they were campers, or camper-age Rosie and Abigail travel forward in time and meet the Lumberjanes.
-Lumberjanes shenanigans from their time at camp as scouts! What types of adventures did they have together? They must have had a lot of interesting cases or Monster-of-the-week stories!
NOTE: Spoilers for Issues #41-#44 in the two prompts below.
-Abigail came back! ...at least for a little while. Why and how did she make that decision? What would convince her to come back again?
-Like, ROSIE AS A BEAR, what. WHAT. What is up with that? How does Abigail feel about that?
Abuelita & Bear Woman
These two became BFFs in the Parent's Day arc (#37-#40) and I want more. *___* Abuelita is exactly the sort of spirited woman I'd expect to be related to Ripley, and I'm fascinated by how quickly she and Bear Woman bonded with one another.
As a side note, I don’t speak much Spanish, so including bilingual dialogue for Abuelita would be really appreciated.
-Abuelita returns to visit Ripley and Bear Woman. In typical Lumberjanes fashion, things do not go as planned.
-Bear Woman leaves the forest to visit Abuelita. What would she think about the outside world? And what will the outside world make of Bear Woman if she suddenly transforms in the middle of a supermarket or a Starbucks?
-Outsider POV on Bear Woman and Abuelita hanging out together!
-Bear Woman is on the trail of an ancient treasure. Abuelita is the only one who can help her.
April & Jo & Mal & Molly & Ripley
Roanoke Cabin! I love our core five, and I love seeing them learn new things and tackle new challenges together.
-Is there anything in the forest that scares the Grootslang? And what would happen if the Lumberjanes ran across it?
-Mal’s role as a master strategist! Maybe she’s just trying to strategize a date with Molly, but things keep getting in their way….
-Five times Ripley got to hug a furry animal/dinosaur/cryptid!
-I love Jo’s robots (especially the unnecessary ones, like CakeBot the cake-frosting robot), and I also enjoy the stories where we get to see Jo being frustrated by how electronics/science/whatever doesn’t work right in the forest (the mermaid rock concert!). Maybe the Lumberjanes get led into an adventure when Jo tries to figure one of these things out!

April/Barney
I really like these two together, and I’m so happy Barney became a Lumberjane! I’m fine with any level of shippiness here, so pre-ship is welcome.
-April becomes convinced that Barney's cat Marigold doesn't like her, and goes full April in trying to fix that. It goes about as well as you'd expect.
-Barney’s a great baker, and April’s very impatient. I feel like the two of them could make an interesting baking team together — how would they overcome the differences in their baking styles together?
-Barney gets to see April in her competitive badge-earning headspace for the first time — how would they see it, and how might they try to work with April?
-April decides to get Barney caught up on Lumberjanes badges!
Jen (Lumberjanes) & Ripley (Lumberjanes)
I love Jen and Ripley's relationship -- Ripley would do anything for Jen, and Jen clearly loves Ripley even if she's exasperated by her half the time.
-Ripley decides to do something nice for Jen! Things do not go as planned.
-Jen gets turned into a bird (any kind of bird — goose, swan, canary, kakapo, go nuts). Only Ripley knows -- and she can't tell anyone, or Jen will stay as a bird forever. How can Ripley rescue her?
-Jen teaches Ripley a lot of skills. What skills might Ripley be able to teach Jen?
-Ripley decides that she needs to help Jen with her ghost-story telling skills for the If You've Got It, Haunt It badge. Only problem is, maybe Jen's getting a little ~too~ good….
Jeremy (Lumberjanes) & Rosie (Lumberjanes)
A woman and her moose may be the purest love of all. :D Seriously, I love Jeremy the moose, and I love Rosie -- we don't get a huge amount about their bond in canon, but I'd be delighted to learn more.
-How did Rosie find Jeremy? Did Jeremy choose to come live with the Lumberjanes?
-A Lumberjanes Guide to Moose Care!
-When Rosie goes missing, it's up to Jeremy to convince Roanoke Cabin that he can follow her scent trail. (Or maybe the trail of moose treats she's been dropping.)
-Something magical turns Rosie into a moose, and it’s up to Jeremy to teach her all about being a moose, like the warmest side of the moose stables and all the best swamps to graze in! Or alternatively, it’s up to Jeremy to figure out how to turn Rosie back/how to make the Lumberjanes realize the new moose is Rosie and help him turn her back.
