Happy Yuletide! It’s the most small-fandom time of the year. :D I’m looking forward to seeing whatever you create!

I love all of these characters, and I will be delighted to get a gift for any of them. If I have more prompts for a given character or canon, it just means I had more ideas and/or was requesting more characters, not that I want it more.
I’ve made some updates from my earlier requests for these fandoms to try to keep things fresh, but if you’re interested in one of my earlier prompts that didn’t get included here, go for it! I’m also here for something different, if you have a story you’d love to tell about one of the fandoms I’ve requested (provided it doesn’t run into a DNW). Some of my favorite gifts have been ones I would never have thought to prompt! And I hope you also feel free to mix and match, take part of a prompt and leave the rest, etc.

I tend to prefer canon-typical levels of sexual content, which for these canons would mean nothing explicit. That being said, if you need to include a scene that’s a step above fade-to-black for reasons of the plot, I totally get it! I’m just not interested in smut/porn as the main focus of the fic.

An Emmy for Megan: Megan Amram
I love this inspiring tale of a triple threat (writer! actor! musician!) following her dream of cynically winning an Emmy through doing the bare minimum.
Given the fandom, I am fine with dramatic and over-the-top MCD in the universe of the show for reasons of the plot. Please no killing of the real Megan, stories set IRL about the show An Emmy for Megan winning the Emmy IRL but only posthumously, etc.
-Fix-it fic for the end of last season! I know this is a really big leap, but given that the show didn’t win an Emmy — maybe Megan isn't really dead? Maybe she created a fake dead doppelgänger, and she was actually outside, waiting to attack James Corden when he least suspected it (because he thinks she's dead). Maybe that was why he won the Meggie, OMG. It was a trick all along to get him there so she could take him out before the Emmys!
-Or maybe Megan comes back as a ghost, and has to try to run Season 3 of the show like that! How frustrating would it be, haunting someone into producing an award-eligible season of television? And are ghosts even eligible for the Emmy?
-I’m sure this is impossible on a show as tightly plotted and flawlessly written as An Emmy for Megan, but it kind of feels like we didn’t get much pay-off for what D’Arcy Carden did in S1. What happened there? Did Megan decide not to report the attack, and if not, why not? Does D’Arcy have something on her?
-Megan realizes that the Emmy the show truly deserved was stolen, and hires a PI to investigate the case. Noir tropes much appreciated here!
-I didn’t ask for Patton Oswalt, but I’d also be here for a story about him! Is his Patreon ever going to get going? How did (show-universe) Megan take the news that he was nominated and she wasn’t?
-I am familiar with The Good Place, if you want to somehow wrap in crossover or fusion elements from there.
-A YULETIDE FIC FOR BURGLEBEZZLEMENT: Look, if you want to go meta and chronicle a writer's efforts to turn in the bare minimum to be a Yuletide fic? I’d be here for that. Just saying.
Giant Days: Daisy, Susan, Esther
Giant Days! I love this comic and everyone in it. :D
I kept up with this one in the floppies, so I’ve read everything except the double issue finale that hasn’t come out yet. But if you’ve only read part of the canon so far, that’s totally fine — I’m interested in stuff set anywhere in the story.
My biggest ship in this canon is their friendship! Gen friendship fic would be amazing. If you are into shipfic, I adore Susan/McGraw and Daisy/Saffy. In fact, if you want to focus on Susan/McGraw or Daisy/Saffy instead of including all three characters, that’s fine. I also really enjoyed Ed/Nina, if you want to include them as a background ship. And finally, Esther and Dean make great antagonists, although I’m not sure I ship it.
If you’re familiar with the Greater Tackleford Universe, I’ve read Bobbins (original flavor, Bobbins.horse, and New Bobbins), Bad Machinery, and Destroying History. I haven’t read Scary Go Round. If you want to pull someone in from the larger universe, I especially love Shelley, Amy, and Charlotte.
-The flat is haunted. Esther is delighted at first, but it turns out the ghost has more in common… with DAISY??
-Susan and McGraw buy their first flat. Too bad it’s haunted by the ghost of a very bad handyman… or maybe just by the ghost of all of the former owner’s terrible DIY projects.
-I feel like this comic is right on my wavelength with the accidental drugging plotlines (Daisy and the Poundland cold medicine, Susan at the music festival, etc.). If that's something you’re into, keep it coming.
-Susan’s (canonical) work experience as a PI fascinates me, and I’ve loved every single time it’s come up in the comic. What else could happen to make her use those skills? Maybe Daisy or Esther don’t know they need her help… but they do. Or another noir story from Susan’s perspective could be amazing!
-McGraw, possibly with assistance, comes up with a series of increasingly ridiculous plots to try to steal and clean Susan’s laptop.
-Esther, looking to make more money than the comics shop allows, starts a business selling glitter-stuffed envelopes for revenge delivery, and does surprisingly well. Then someone starts placing orders to be sent to Susan.
-I feel like this would be an amazing canon for a State-Mandated Ghost Hunters AU! For a gen take, maybe Daisy and Susan end up as the ghost speaker and ghost fighter, and Esther is just, like, so offended not to be included. Or maybe it’s an AU where Susan and McGraw haven’t yet reconciled, and they get called to serve together. Awkward! But I bet McGraw could make a mean scythe.
-Daisy comes up with an unusual solution to one of her mentee’s problems.
SPOILERS for issues #53 and 54 past this point.
-I absolutely adore Daisy/Saffy! I’d love more about them. <3 Daisy deserves someone kind and good… and maybe a bit Susan-like in her willingness to bend the rules for results. :D
-I also want more about Daisy and why the Dean warned her to “beware the tomb of Derek Dooley” — what?? I want to know! Is this something she’s going to run into in her new job for the local council?
-Or maybe Esther runs into a literary mystery in her new world up in London! And asks Daisy and Susan to come investigate with her? Or maybe Esther disappears, and Daisy and Susan have to find her.
Hive Mind: Amber, Lucas
I love this series. :D I’m always here for special, special telepaths and the people who love and serve them, so this series was an easy hit right on the sweet spot for my id… and then the author threw in some really interesting worldbuilding, too.
I love how the Hive isn’t a dystopia or a utopia, but something in between — some things are obviously better than our world, and some things are obviously worse, and some things are just different. It’s a fascinating balance and I love the unique view Amber gets of that world.
I love Amber/Lucas. I am rather OTP-ish about them in this canon, so I’d rather not see them break up or go through a love triangle situation. That being said, I’m totally fine if the focus is more on one of them and not on their relationship. I’m also here for it if you want to write something from the perspective of one of Amber’s other unit members (especially Buzz or Nicole), and let Amber and Lucas be background characters.
-I’d love to see more of the Hive’s celebrations, whether that’s seeing Amber’s unit and how they celebrate, or a story that lets us see how people celebrate as families or on Teen Level. :D Are the four major holidays a busy time for Amber’s unit? Are there other holidays that aren't officially sanctioned, but are still celebrated?
-Or more about what other things people in the Hive do for fun! What sorts of hobbies do the members of Amber’s unit have? We know the Hive has the beaches and parks and stadiums — are there other public recreational spaces we haven’t seen yet? Amusement parks? How might one of Amber’s runs take her into those spaces?
-Does Amber’s unit ever get to work on a case that seems supernatural? Or maybe Amber’s Unit has to fake some supernatural occurrence — seeing Nicole’s perspective as Liaison on that could be awesome.
-We’ve seen several urban legends the Hive uses to encourage specific behavior (“Level 99,” the fear of Outside, etc.). What other urban legends does the Hive have, and how might they come into play during a case? Do any of our characters ever have to invent/establish an urban legend while doing their jobs?
-Someone discovers a part of Amber’s unit that has been walled off since Claire’s time, and it’s hiding something. How did the area go undiscovered? What’s inside?
-Emergency response-related fic is my jam, and I’ve really enjoyed the emergency response competency we’ve seen in canon. I’d love to see more of Amber’s unit responding to emergencies! We’ve already seen a blackout. What other emergencies does the Hive prepare for? Are there ever storms outside large enough that they affect the inside of the Hive?
-Epidemic fic. We know the fear (and reality?) of epidemics was one of the reasons why the Hives were closed to travel. What if an epidemic hits Hive England... and Amber’s Unit has to get to the bottom of it? Could it be sabotage from disaffected Hive researchers, or sabotage from another Hive? How would the Hive and its citizens respond? Or what if the illness hit Amber's unit?
-Through her work with Amber, Buzz works out a potential method to make borderline telepaths into true telepaths. Would she try it on herself? Tell others?
-The Hive’s screening process in Lottery only checks for telepaths. Do Hive citizens ever turn up with other paranormal gifts, like precognition or telepathy or the ability to talk to the dead? What would happen if Amber ran into one of them during a case?
ETA: Borderline, the fourth book, is out now, and I have read it and love it, so if you've read it, spoilers are A-OK. And if you haven't read it yet, that's great too!
Kelsey 100 Baby Challenge: Any (of Brielle, Kasey, Chelsea, Gavin)
I’ve been loving Kelsey 100 Baby Challenge, and I’d adore some fic for any of these characters. :D
References to canon deaths are fine. Given that this is the Sims, I'm also fine with side-deaths like getting eaten by a cowplant, as long as it's not the main focus of the fic. I’m also fine with fic investigating why canonical Sims deaths occurred. (The Sims X-Files? Sims Noir?) However, I still am not interested in fic focused solely on death, e.g. a fic about a character slowly dying of a lingering illness or 5 Characters Crying At Chelsea’s Grave. Also, I DNW fic about Kelsey the human dying.
I'm fine with meta-fic that includes Kelsey as part of the fic. Please no shipfic about the real-life Kelsey, though.
For settings, my favorite settings have been the everyday worlds, along with Selvadorada and Granite Falls. I also enjoyed the Strangerville and Forgotten Hollow spin-off LPs. I’m less into Glimmerbrook and Realm of Magic — it’s kind of a genre departure for Kelsey 100 Baby, which I suspect is why Kelsey hasn’t included it in the challenge. But I am really into some of the base game stuff like ghosts!
Please feel free to bring in whatever other Impiccishmay family members you like. They're all great!
-Gavin! I always kind of shipped Chelsea with him more than with the Craigs, TBH, and their love story was so tragic... until he got dead and started destroying her plumbing. What if ghost!Chelsea and ghost!Gavin got together?
-Or what was it like for Gavin to be haunting Chelsea's house and family after everything that happened? What's the ghost experience like in the Sims?
-My other out-there ship for Chelsea: Chelsea/Grim. :D I have no prompts for this but I think it could be hysterical.
-Something about The Day the Children Died. I’m sure this was just a Sims glitch because how could it not be? (Or maybe “glitch” is the wrong word. Presumably this was the result of the game keeping kids as Young Adults until their mom is an Elder, or something.) But like… what the hell happened in-game-world to cause that? Pandemic? A curse? Mass outbreak of cow plants?
-Gothic fic about Kasey! Because look, it's a really Gothic setup -- she's in this huge house, she keeps having kids, she wakes up and realizes her hair color has changed and she has no idea why — what’s that like?
-Either Kasey or Chelsea gets a chance to go explore Selvadorada and become a treasure hunter!
-Or more about Kasey or Chelsea’s canonical careers. Does Chelsea ever get caught up as the victim in a plagiarism scandal? What level of YouTube drama does Kasey partake in?
-Kasey, Chelsea, and [third matriarch we assume will get here soon] show up in Kelsey's dreams, A Christmas Carol-style. What do they ask Kelsey? What do they want?
-Or -- similar to the above -- if you've seen the Tasty episode where Kelsey and Alvin made 100-layer dip, and he asked her if she ever thought about Black Mirror... her expression there was great. I could totally see a USS Callister-style twist here (with Kelsey as the not-knowing-they're-real, not-intending-to-hurt player rather than the obviously evil Daly).
-Brielle keeps waking up in other players' games. What other things does she do? How does she keep her self-identity in the face of being played as so many different careers? What is her true aspiration?
-Brielle gets to do a proper heist! I'd love to see her working with a team -- would she recruit any siblings/nieces/nephews, or does family just over-complicate matters?
-Brielle steals the ultimate key: the key to our reality. How will she handle it? What will she do?

-Something about The Day the Children Died. I’m sure this was just a Sims glitch because how could it not be? (Or maybe “glitch” is the wrong word. Presumably this was the result of the game keeping kids as Young Adults until their mom is an Elder, or something.) But like… what the hell happened in-game-world to cause that? Pandemic? A curse? Mass outbreak of cow plants?
-Gothic fic about Kasey! Because look, it's a really Gothic setup -- she's in this huge house, she keeps having kids, she wakes up and realizes her hair color has changed and she has no idea why — what’s that like?
-Either Kasey or Chelsea gets a chance to go explore Selvadorada and become a treasure hunter!
-Or more about Kasey or Chelsea’s canonical careers. Does Chelsea ever get caught up as the victim in a plagiarism scandal? What level of YouTube drama does Kasey partake in?
-Kasey, Chelsea, and [third matriarch we assume will get here soon] show up in Kelsey's dreams, A Christmas Carol-style. What do they ask Kelsey? What do they want?
-Or -- similar to the above -- if you've seen the Tasty episode where Kelsey and Alvin made 100-layer dip, and he asked her if she ever thought about Black Mirror... her expression there was great. I could totally see a USS Callister-style twist here (with Kelsey as the not-knowing-they're-real, not-intending-to-hurt player rather than the obviously evil Daly).
-Brielle keeps waking up in other players' games. What other things does she do? How does she keep her self-identity in the face of being played as so many different careers? What is her true aspiration?
-Brielle gets to do a proper heist! I'd love to see her working with a team -- would she recruit any siblings/nieces/nephews, or does family just over-complicate matters?
-Brielle steals the ultimate key: the key to our reality. How will she handle it? What will she do?
