I’m excited to be part of this exchange, and to see what you come up with. And I’m really looking forward to some femslash!
I love all of these ships, and I will be delighted to get a gift for any of them. If I have more prompts for a given ship or canon, it just means I had more ideas, not that I want it more.
Also, while I have prompts for all of these ships, I’m also here for something different if you have a different story you’d love to tell (provided it doesn’t run into a DNW). Some of my favorite gifts have been ones I would never have thought to prompt! And I hope you also feel free to mix and match, take part of a prompt and leave the rest, etc.

General dislikes and DNWs
I tend to prefer canon-typical levels of sexual content, which for these canons would mean nothing explicit. That being said, if you need to include a scene that’s a step above fade-to-black for reasons of the plot, I totally get it! I’m just not interested in smut/porn as the main focus of the fic.
My DNWs for these canons:
Don't Trust the B: Chloe/June
I love these two together. I love the way Chloe doesn’t realize she’s letting June in under her guard until she’s already in there, in some kind of reverse-corruption deal. ♥
I love the episodes where Chloe reveals some unexpected soft spot, like her secret collection of Shitagi Nashi comics or her love of Charro. I love when June discovers or uncovers a side of Chloe that Chloe didn’t know she had.
While I’m still not into PWP or explicit porn, I’d be fine with plots including dubcon kissing, cuddling, etc. between Chloe and June, which seems pretty realistic based on canon. I’m also fine with an open relationship for these two, if that’s how you see them.
• I like Chloe kidnapping June and taking her somewhere she didn’t expect — a party, a bar. Maybe a cruise ship headed for international waters.
• Chloe comes up with some reason why they need to pretend to be a couple, and June catches real feelings. Maybe Chloe’s trying to provide June couldn’t feel like that for her, but secretly hoping to be wrong. Or maybe there’s a real reason they need to Undercover As A Couple together!
• I love a good Vegas Wedding (or other accidental marriage) and I love a good The Hangover. This seems like a great canon for either or both.
• June gets sick and/or accidentally drugged, and Chloe has to take care of her. (Caretaker!Chloe just seems like it has a ton of potential for hilarity.)
• June tries to take Chloe somewhere wholesome, like a corn maze or apple-picking, but Chloe finds a dark, seedy underbelly, because Chloe is really good at that.
• June gets turned into a vampire and makes Chloe into her thrall. Chloe either makes a terrible thrall, or is surprised to find she’s into it. (Side note: my cannibalism squick/DNW does not include consensual blood-drinking by vampires, so if you want to run with that, go for it.)
• Someone with a grudge against one of them is trying to act out a horror movie and invites them to a remote island or abandoned summer camp, only to find Chloe (or June! Or both of them!) flipping the script on them.
Ghostbusters (2016)
Requested ships: Abby/Erin, Abby/Holtz, Erin/Holtz, Holtz/Patty
I think this movie is turning into one of my forever fandoms. The characters are all amazing, and I love getting a chance to spend more time with them. Also, I love fic about ghosts.
I DNW poly ships for this canon, but I’m fine with past Abby/Erin or Abby/Holtz being mentioned in a fic about a different pairing. While I DNW Kevin/any Ghostbuster, I do enjoy him as a character, and especially as comic relief. I also like Jennifer Lynch and seeing the Ghostbusters going up against the Mayor’s office, or dealing with press stuff, or whatever.
For this canon, I DNW aromantic and/or asexual Abby. If you’re writing a ship that doesn’t involve Abby, I’m fine with Abby being single or dating someone either on- or off-screen, or with her love life just not being mentioned. I DNW fic about ghost cats, but non-cat ghosts and non-ghost cats are fine.
Abby/Erin: I came out of Ghostbusters shipping Abby/Erin hard. Erin literally throws herself into a vortex to save Abby? Yes, please! I love their history together, the way it’s tough but they manage to find their way back to one another.
I am less interested in backstory fic for these two — I want to see where they go next!
Abby/Holtz: I love how close they were at Higgins! They both had tough times — Holtz with the lab accident that stopped CERN from hiring her, Abby with Erin leaving — but they met one another and grew their own working relationship, and became stronger together, which I love seeing. I also love stuff set after the movie, where their relationship grows and changes as the Ghostbusters move into the next phase of their work together.
Erin/Holtz: Holtz flirting with Erin in the movie just slayed me. I have watched the Debarge dancing scene way too often, and I always want more. I especially like mutual pining for these two. I’m not always convinced by the trope, but with these two? I totally buy it. Holtz is so out there that it’s always a surprise when her softer, more vulnerable side shows up, and it kills me every time.
Holtz/Patty: I love these two together. Patty goes with the flow, while Holtz IS the flow, and simultaneously is overthinking things on about eighteen different levels. I love Patty’s acceptance of Holtz, because I get the feeling that isn’t something Holtz is used to. And I’d love to see Holtz get a chance to take care of Patty, because that is my jam.
Prompts (for any requested ship)
• I love canon-typical in this canon. Busting ghosts, solving problems both scientific and paranormal. NYC-based stuff is great, too — I love the kind of weird history that might show up on something like Scouting NY. (Side note: I’m reasonably familiar with the city, but I don’t live there, so no worries if you take liberties with NYC-based stuff.)
• A trip out of town to bust ghosts or investigate paranormal phenomena could also be great. Potential settings:
• Casefic where they initially assume it’s ghosts, but it ends up being some other paranormal phenomenon, like a place where time runs weirdly, or a cryptid, or [insert other paranormal thing here].
• Someone gets accidentally drugged (or something like being drugged — feel free to handwave paranormal reasons for this); someone else has to take care of them.
• Dude, Where’s Ecto 1: The Ghostbusters wake up somewhere unexpected, with fuzzy memories, and have to unravel what happened. Is it a paranormal event?
• Bedsharing is great for any of these ships. Someone’s apartment is uninhabitable (let’s face it, Holtz probably destroys apartments on the regular), or they’re traveling and there’s only one bed.
• Fake dating for a bust or for publicity reasons (meddling!Jennifer Lynch!)
• I love accidental marriage fics in this canon. Vegas Wedding it up, or have a “wait, the paperwork went through on that?” marriage for Abby/Erin or Abby/Holtz!
• A bust goes wrong, and two Ghostbusters end up in an unexpected survival situation. (Maybe one of Holtz’s inventions unexpectedly teleports them somewhere… or somewhen!)
• Didn’t Know They Were Dating, esp. with Holtz, who I feel this trope is basically made for.
• Something paranormal happens, and as a result, A can't touch B. (Maybe an accident in Holtzman's lab leaves someone negatively-charged ionic blah blah science words that mean they can't touch other people or someone will die. Maybe someone accidentally gets turned into a spirit version of herself and has no mass. Handwave freely.) A doesn't realize how much she wants to touch B until it's suddenly no longer an option... but can the Ghostbusters figure out how to fix this terrible paranormal situationwhich is totally not an excuse for touch-starvation and angst?
• Or for more of a horror casefic, maybe someone shows up at the Firehouse claiming to be one of Holtzmann’s relatives — and it isn't until later that Patty (or Abby or Erin) realizes that Holtz doesn’t have any living relatives. Who (or what) is staying with the Ghostbusters? What’s their agenda? And most importantly, why did Holtz claim to recognize them?
The Good Place
Requested Ships: Eleanor Shellstrop/Eleanor Shellstrop, Tahani Al-Jamil/Kamilah Al-Jamil, Vicky/Kamilah Al-Jamil
The Good Place! I love this show so much, and I’m so excited for the third season.
I think I ship basically everything, but I went with rarer pairs for this exchange. If you want to include background ships, go for it. Also, while I couldn’t think of any prompts and therefore didn’t nominate it, I’d be here for a Kamilah/Vicky/Tahani thing if that’s your jam.
I’m good with fic set anywhere on the timeline, or outside of it. Earth-fic, stuff in the “Good Place”, stuff in the actual Good Place, stuff in the Bad Place, time loops, canon-departure, it’s all on the table. Maybe they’re all contestants on the Great British Bakeoff or The Bachelor or something, and have no idea how they got there. Go nuts.

Tahani/Kamilah: I love what we get about this two and their fraught relationship in canon, and I’m here for more.
• Tahani has to hide out in the Bad Place as Rhonda Mumps for reals this time, and ends up working at the hot dogging plant. Kamilah shows up for a dogging session and assumes that the demon torturing her is just wearing her sister’s skin to make the torture worse — it has to be, right? She gives the demon an earful about how she really feels about her sister, and things unravel from there.
• The scenario above, but Tahani decides to pretend she really is Rhonda Mumps. Does “Rhonda” help Kamilah? Does Kamilah let her guard down around “Rhonda” and let Tahani see what she’s really like for the first time?
• On Earth, Tahani is trying to be a good person, a bigger person, and trying to heal her relationship with her sister. It’s just that Kamilah’s so frustrating. And so hot. Not that Tahani thinks that. She totally doesn’t. Except maybe she does, but she’s never going to admit it… is she?
• In the aftermath of Tahani nearly dying by Golden Kamilah, Kamilah’s publicist decides that the sisters have to be seen healing their rift to preserve Kamilah’s career. They’re sent on a retreat of some sort together. Neither of them want to be there. Neither of them want to do this. And Kamilah’s got those confusing feelings still….
• Meeting Kamilah or spending time with Kamilah is one of Tahani’s final tests to get into The Good Place. Can she do it? Or if the crew ends up in the actual Good Place, how would Tahani react to meeting Kamilah there?
Kamilah/Vicky: Vicky’s trying to be Kamilah, in a lot of ways — a multi-talented singer/creator with a career on the rise. What would it look like if the two of them met?
• Vicky goes to Earth for Reasons. (Maybe Shawn sends her. Maybe she goes rogue and sends herself.) She figures Tahani’s sister is the best way to get to her, goes after Kamilah, and things unravel from there.
• Kamilah ends up in the Bad Place and meets Vicky, who’s been demoted to working in a low-level torture role at The Bad Place’s equivalent of a coffee shop. Together, they scheme to return to Earth and enact their revenge on Tahani… and maybe fall in love along the way.
• Vicky has become a Neighborhood 12358W truther. When Kamilah arrives in the Bad Place, Vicky tracks her down as part of her quest to prove that there’s been a cover up.
• Kamilah arrives in the Bad Place and demands to speak to a manager. That manager is Vicky.
• Or come up with another way for Kamilah and Vicky to meet!
Eleanor/Eleanor: I love the idea of Eleanor meeting a different version of herself. I'm fine if the selfcest is lowkey and there's no on-screen makeouts -- heck, maybe one Eleanor is into it and the other isn't!
• Michael makes constructs of their earlier selves for them to interact with (torture, opposite-torture, learning tool, whatever floats your boat). How would our newer, more evolved Eleanor take that? Or maybe the construct of the original Eleanor just wants to get drunk with Jason and throw fireworks at shit. ALSO GOOD.
• During the final reboot, Janet makes the construct of Original Flavor Eleanor by accident. New and improved Eleanor has to try to keep Vicky from finding her.
• Current-canon Eleanor is sent back to Earth, but this time it’s to a point before when she died. Could she convince her earlier self to change her ways? Would earlier Eleanor believe her, or just want to make out with her?
• The above, but angsty: current-canon Eleanor is going to disappear when the timeline catches up to the point of her death, and has only a short period of time to convince the earlier version of herself to change her ways.
• Pre-death Eleanor gets really drunk and accidentally ends up catfishing herself.
• Or come up with some other scenario!
Gravity Falls: Mabel/Pacifica
I love Pacifica and Mabel together! I felt like I wanted way more Pacifica backstory and character development than we got in canon, and Mabel is just so much fun — I love seeing more of the two of them. And they have such a great dynamic for shipfic. :D
A quick note re: my underage DNW: if you write fic set when Pacifica and Mabel are under 18, I’m fine with kissing or hand-holding, similar to what we see in canon. If you go beyond that point, please age them both up to 18+.
• Either Mabel or Pacifica is turned into a cryptid or cursed. How do they cope?
• Mabel’s evil twin shows up and starts trying to take Mabel’s place, and Pacifica’s the first one to notice… or does she?
• Post-canon fic! Pacifica’s family has lost their money and Pacifica’s waiting tables for Lazy Susan — what’s it like when Mabel shows up for the summer? Woobie!Pacifica greatly appreciated here.
• Undercover as a couple for Reasons!
• Mabel and Pacifica have to investigate an urban legend (and I’m assuming that in Gravity Falls, urban legends can get pretty weird….)
• Mabel and Pacifica discover they are soulmates (the weirder the soulmate trope, the better).
• GLOW fusion! Gravity Falls brings a wrestling coach to town to run a girl’s wrestling program. Mabel’s having a blast, until she’s cast as the heel and Pacifica’s cast as the face. And working with Pacifica in the ring is bringing up unexpected feelings….
The Hot Daga (Buzzfeed Unsolved Network): Maizey/Gebra
I am surprised by how much Shane has made me feel for a holographic corn, and how invested I’ve become in seeing Maizey get her wife Gebra back.
For this canon, I’m fine with seeing only one side of the ship as they work to defeat the hot dog witch and reunite. We know they’re married, they’re in love, and Maizey’s love for Gebra is literally the only thing holding her holographic self together. If you want to write about one of them and lean into the angst inherent in their current separation, go for it.
• For prequel fic, I’d love to see some of that rich holographic backstory! How did Maizey and Gebra meet and fall in love? Was it love at first sight, or did it take a while? Who proposed to whom, and what was that like? Does their world put any obstacles in the way of a corn and a french fries falling for one another?
• Pam says Gebra no longer exists, but we all know hot dog witches lie. Is Gebra still there, somewhere, somehow, in a weird shadow-dimension? Is she watching Maizey? Is she behind that Sweet Gene and the Risky Fixin’s song coming on the radio at the exact right moment to inspire Maizey to keep going?
• Fix-it fic would also be great — figure out a way around that hot-dog witch and bring everyone back to life!
• After the Hot Daga finally wraps up and everyone is brought back together (which will probably be at least eight seasons from now), Maizey and Gebra must either come to terms with being holographs — or figure out a way to become real. Can they do it?
The Spy Who Dumped Me: Morgan Freeman/Audrey Stockman
I loved these two together! I love the way Morgan is always just too much, and the fact that Audrey loves her for it. I love how Morgan is always there for Audrey, and the way she tries to make sure Audrey owns how awesome she is.
• Spy hijinks. SPYJINKS.
• Morgan’s parents! I loved them so much. Has Audrey met them before? I can’t see Morgan fake-dating Audrey for her parents’ benefit— let’s be real, she tells them absolutely everything. But I could see Morgan taking Audrey home as a friend, and her parents deciding to play matchmaker and try to ignite some sparks, in the most awkward and well-meaning way possible.
• While under the influence of a truth serum (because spy stuff), Morgan confesses that she has one secret she’s kept from Audrey and even her parents. The serum wears off before Morgan can say what it is, but Audrey figures there’s only one thing Morgan could possibly be hiding: Morgan’s got a crush on her. At first, Audrey’s not sure how she feels, but somehow, she just can’t get the thought out of her head….
• I want to know more about this underage magician Morgan had staying at her grandmother’s condo. The one who disappeared forever. Like… what? There’s a story there, right? Maybe Morgan and Audrey decide to use their new spy skills to try to track him down?
• Undercover as a couple for a spy mission turns into real feelings.
• Looking for a new apartment together because some spy asshole blew theirs up.
• I love seeing people use spy skills for ordinary, every-day problems that really don’t warrant them. Maybe something about their weird landlord, or something at Audrey’s day job, that Morgan decides needs to be investigated, Spy Style.

Who (or what) is staying with the Ghostbusters? What’s their agenda? And most importantly, why did Holtz claim to recognize them?
The Good Place
Requested Ships: Eleanor Shellstrop/Eleanor Shellstrop, Tahani Al-Jamil/Kamilah Al-Jamil, Vicky/Kamilah Al-Jamil
The Good Place! I love this show so much, and I’m so excited for the third season.
I think I ship basically everything, but I went with rarer pairs for this exchange. If you want to include background ships, go for it. Also, while I couldn’t think of any prompts and therefore didn’t nominate it, I’d be here for a Kamilah/Vicky/Tahani thing if that’s your jam.
I’m good with fic set anywhere on the timeline, or outside of it. Earth-fic, stuff in the “Good Place”, stuff in the actual Good Place, stuff in the Bad Place, time loops, canon-departure, it’s all on the table. Maybe they’re all contestants on the Great British Bakeoff or The Bachelor or something, and have no idea how they got there. Go nuts.
I’m fine with one-sided, unrequited, and/or stalkery relationships for this canon. While I’m still not into PWP or explicit porn, I’d be fine with plots including dubcon kissing, etc.
Tahani/Kamilah: I love what we get about this two and their fraught relationship in canon, and I’m here for more.
• Tahani has to hide out in the Bad Place as Rhonda Mumps for reals this time, and ends up working at the hot dogging plant. Kamilah shows up for a dogging session and assumes that the demon torturing her is just wearing her sister’s skin to make the torture worse — it has to be, right? She gives the demon an earful about how she really feels about her sister, and things unravel from there.
• The scenario above, but Tahani decides to pretend she really is Rhonda Mumps. Does “Rhonda” help Kamilah? Does Kamilah let her guard down around “Rhonda” and let Tahani see what she’s really like for the first time?
• On Earth, Tahani is trying to be a good person, a bigger person, and trying to heal her relationship with her sister. It’s just that Kamilah’s so frustrating. And so hot. Not that Tahani thinks that. She totally doesn’t. Except maybe she does, but she’s never going to admit it… is she?
• In the aftermath of Tahani nearly dying by Golden Kamilah, Kamilah’s publicist decides that the sisters have to be seen healing their rift to preserve Kamilah’s career. They’re sent on a retreat of some sort together. Neither of them want to be there. Neither of them want to do this. And Kamilah’s got those confusing feelings still….
• Meeting Kamilah or spending time with Kamilah is one of Tahani’s final tests to get into The Good Place. Can she do it? Or if the crew ends up in the actual Good Place, how would Tahani react to meeting Kamilah there?
Kamilah/Vicky: Vicky’s trying to be Kamilah, in a lot of ways — a multi-talented singer/creator with a career on the rise. What would it look like if the two of them met?
• Vicky goes to Earth for Reasons. (Maybe Shawn sends her. Maybe she goes rogue and sends herself.) She figures Tahani’s sister is the best way to get to her, goes after Kamilah, and things unravel from there.
• Kamilah ends up in the Bad Place and meets Vicky, who’s been demoted to working in a low-level torture role at The Bad Place’s equivalent of a coffee shop. Together, they scheme to return to Earth and enact their revenge on Tahani… and maybe fall in love along the way.
• Vicky has become a Neighborhood 12358W truther. When Kamilah arrives in the Bad Place, Vicky tracks her down as part of her quest to prove that there’s been a cover up.
• Kamilah arrives in the Bad Place and demands to speak to a manager. That manager is Vicky.
• Or come up with another way for Kamilah and Vicky to meet!
Eleanor/Eleanor: I love the idea of Eleanor meeting a different version of herself. I'm fine if the selfcest is lowkey and there's no on-screen makeouts -- heck, maybe one Eleanor is into it and the other isn't!
• Michael makes constructs of their earlier selves for them to interact with (torture, opposite-torture, learning tool, whatever floats your boat). How would our newer, more evolved Eleanor take that? Or maybe the construct of the original Eleanor just wants to get drunk with Jason and throw fireworks at shit. ALSO GOOD.
• During the final reboot, Janet makes the construct of Original Flavor Eleanor by accident. New and improved Eleanor has to try to keep Vicky from finding her.
• Current-canon Eleanor is sent back to Earth, but this time it’s to a point before when she died. Could she convince her earlier self to change her ways? Would earlier Eleanor believe her, or just want to make out with her?
• The above, but angsty: current-canon Eleanor is going to disappear when the timeline catches up to the point of her death, and has only a short period of time to convince the earlier version of herself to change her ways.
• Pre-death Eleanor gets really drunk and accidentally ends up catfishing herself.
• Or come up with some other scenario!
Gravity Falls: Mabel/Pacifica
I love Pacifica and Mabel together! I felt like I wanted way more Pacifica backstory and character development than we got in canon, and Mabel is just so much fun — I love seeing more of the two of them. And they have such a great dynamic for shipfic. :D
A quick note re: my underage DNW: if you write fic set when Pacifica and Mabel are under 18, I’m fine with kissing or hand-holding, similar to what we see in canon. If you go beyond that point, please age them both up to 18+.
• Either Mabel or Pacifica is turned into a cryptid or cursed. How do they cope?
• Mabel’s evil twin shows up and starts trying to take Mabel’s place, and Pacifica’s the first one to notice… or does she?
• Post-canon fic! Pacifica’s family has lost their money and Pacifica’s waiting tables for Lazy Susan — what’s it like when Mabel shows up for the summer? Woobie!Pacifica greatly appreciated here.
• Undercover as a couple for Reasons!
• Mabel and Pacifica have to investigate an urban legend (and I’m assuming that in Gravity Falls, urban legends can get pretty weird….)
• Mabel and Pacifica discover they are soulmates (the weirder the soulmate trope, the better).
• GLOW fusion! Gravity Falls brings a wrestling coach to town to run a girl’s wrestling program. Mabel’s having a blast, until she’s cast as the heel and Pacifica’s cast as the face. And working with Pacifica in the ring is bringing up unexpected feelings….
The Hot Daga (Buzzfeed Unsolved Network): Maizey/Gebra
I am surprised by how much Shane has made me feel for a holographic corn, and how invested I’ve become in seeing Maizey get her wife Gebra back.
For this canon, I’m fine with seeing only one side of the ship as they work to defeat the hot dog witch and reunite. We know they’re married, they’re in love, and Maizey’s love for Gebra is literally the only thing holding her holographic self together. If you want to write about one of them and lean into the angst inherent in their current separation, go for it.
• For prequel fic, I’d love to see some of that rich holographic backstory! How did Maizey and Gebra meet and fall in love? Was it love at first sight, or did it take a while? Who proposed to whom, and what was that like? Does their world put any obstacles in the way of a corn and a french fries falling for one another?
• Pam says Gebra no longer exists, but we all know hot dog witches lie. Is Gebra still there, somewhere, somehow, in a weird shadow-dimension? Is she watching Maizey? Is she behind that Sweet Gene and the Risky Fixin’s song coming on the radio at the exact right moment to inspire Maizey to keep going?
• Fix-it fic would also be great — figure out a way around that hot-dog witch and bring everyone back to life!
• After the Hot Daga finally wraps up and everyone is brought back together (which will probably be at least eight seasons from now), Maizey and Gebra must either come to terms with being holographs — or figure out a way to become real. Can they do it?
The Spy Who Dumped Me: Morgan Freeman/Audrey Stockman
I loved these two together! I love the way Morgan is always just too much, and the fact that Audrey loves her for it. I love how Morgan is always there for Audrey, and the way she tries to make sure Audrey owns how awesome she is.
• Spy hijinks. SPYJINKS.
• Morgan’s parents! I loved them so much. Has Audrey met them before? I can’t see Morgan fake-dating Audrey for her parents’ benefit— let’s be real, she tells them absolutely everything. But I could see Morgan taking Audrey home as a friend, and her parents deciding to play matchmaker and try to ignite some sparks, in the most awkward and well-meaning way possible.
• While under the influence of a truth serum (because spy stuff), Morgan confesses that she has one secret she’s kept from Audrey and even her parents. The serum wears off before Morgan can say what it is, but Audrey figures there’s only one thing Morgan could possibly be hiding: Morgan’s got a crush on her. At first, Audrey’s not sure how she feels, but somehow, she just can’t get the thought out of her head….
• I want to know more about this underage magician Morgan had staying at her grandmother’s condo. The one who disappeared forever. Like… what? There’s a story there, right? Maybe Morgan and Audrey decide to use their new spy skills to try to track him down?
• Undercover as a couple for a spy mission turns into real feelings.
• Looking for a new apartment together because some spy asshole blew theirs up.
• I love seeing people use spy skills for ordinary, every-day problems that really don’t warrant them. Maybe something about their weird landlord, or something at Audrey’s day job, that Morgan decides needs to be investigated, Spy Style.
